Primary responsibilitiesinvolve assembling, monitoring, maintaining, retrieving, and filing patientinformation in the electronic health record in accordance with establishedHealth Information Management (HIM) policies and procedures. Proficient in Releaseof information, HIPAA compliant, Warrants/Subpoena's, Guardianship, andDesignation of Personal Representatives including Electronic submission ofbirth certification to State of New Hampshire, Vital Records. Maintenance ofMaster Patient Index.
Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred. Computer experience isrequired. A good command of grammar and spelling is necessary. Must possessstrong verbal and written communications skills. Medical terminology ispreferred. Able to work efficiently in adistracting environment, adapting to frequent interruptions, while maintainingorganization and efficiency with essential job functions.
Essential Function:
A working knowledge to deal with HIPAA compliant, Warrants/Subpoena's,Guardianship, and Designation of Personal Representative requests.
